CONCEPT:

The community of Rhodes’ multicultural diversity, indigenous, colonial and industrial history, along with its natural riverside location, provided rich pickings for themes through which a creative expression of story and image could occur.

Combining these temporal and historical phenomena with a stairway, we arrived at the concept of passage. Coming and going, back and forth, up and down, step by step, away and back again. Through this passing, our artwork describes the traces of these journeys.
